First batch of pilgrims set out for Amarnath

The first batch of 2995 pilgrims — including 2334 men, 520 women, 21 children and 120 sadhus — left the base camp in Jammu’s Bhagwati Nagar on Wednesday for the annual 60-day pilgrimage to the two base camps in Kashmir’s Baltal and Pahalgam.
