Karnataka: Political crisis within Congress-JD(S) coalition continues on day two

The heightened political crisis in Karnataka showed no signs of abating after the 10 of the 13 Cong-JD(S) MLAs, who submitted their resignations to the Speaker’s office on Saturday morning, were holed up at a private hotel in Mumbai, awaiting “orders” from the BJP high command. The central leadership has deputed Piyush Goyal to oversee the entire 'operation Lotus'.
