Karnataka chief minister B S Yediyurappa wins trust vote in assembly
Karnataka chief minister B S Yediyurappa on Monday won the confidence motion in the assembly by voice vote. Moving the motion, Yediyurappa alleged that administrative machinery in the state had collapsed. Congress Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah said the Yediyurappa government was "unconstitutional and immoral" and expressed doubts about its longevity.
