U'khand: IMF launches expedition to retrieve mountaineers' bodies

A fully equipped team of 12 members from the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) is headed for the accident site through Pindari glacier to retrieve the bodies of mountaineers spotted near Nanda Devi East peak. The team is expected to reach the area by Saturday to carry out a ground search expedition. The IMF was earlier denied permission by the Uttarakhand govt.
