Google kicks off 2019 Women's World Cup football with a doodle

Google on Thursday celebrated the start of the 2019 Football World Cup being hosted by France. This is first of the many doodles unveiled by doodle to capture the local excitement of the World Cup. A total of 24 teams are competing in the eighth edition of the World Cup, the final of which will be played in the French city of Lyon on July 7.
