Ishrat Jahan case: CBI court approves discharge pleas of Vanzara, Amin

A special CBI court accepted the application of DG Vanzara and NK Amin seeking to drop proceedings against them in the Ishrat Jahan alleged fake encounter case. The two retired police officers had sought that proceedings against them in the case be dropped as the state government has decided not to grant sanction to the CBI to prosecute them.
