Akali Dal skips NDA meeting over interference in gurdwara, package for farmers

In signs of emerging strain, the Shiromani Akali Dal, one of the BJP's oldest ally, on Thursday "boycotted" a meeting of the NDA, saying it is "extremely upset" over RSS' alleged interference in internal affairs of Sikhs.
