SC agrees to hear plea of Sonia, Rahul against re-opening of their tax assessments for 2011-12

A bench of Justices A K Sikri and S Abdul Nazeer said the issue raised by the Gandhis along with senior Congress leader Oscar Fernandes requires consideration and posted the case for December 4 for final hearing. The court did not issue notice to the I-T department after solicitor general Tushar Mehta pleaded that there was no need for it as he would there to assist the court on its behalf.
