Hike in MSP for MFPs: Govt seeks EC's nod

The plan of the ministry of tribal affairs (MoTA) to effect a major hike in the range of 40% to 60% in minimum support price (MSP) for minor forest produce (non-timber) now depends on the Election Commission of India.
