Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrests builder Vijay Machindar of Ornate Spaces in a money laundering case. Machindar allegedly sold off seven flats booked in Grove Tower in Oshiwara to others. He received Rs 450 Crores from Punjab National Bank and other bankers for the project. Machindar also raised around Rs 70 crores by selling around 70,000 sq. feet area to 34 purchasers. He allegedly took help of Dawood gang to get back allotment letters of 34 flats in Grove Tower.

The help desk has been opened at Surya Khel Parisar-I—also known as Butchery ground—on Cariappa road in Cantonment area, adjacent to Army Public School (LBS Marg). According to defence PRO, “One has to carry official identity proof of himself/herself to avail the passes.”

Around 5.33 crore houses in rural areas of India have not yet been provided tap water connections under the Jal Jeevan Mission-'Har Ghar Jal'. The worst affected states are Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. The government has supplied tap water to 13.91 crore rural houses so far, out of a total of 19.25 crore houses. The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation has provided this data in response to an RTI application. The 'Har Ghar Jal' scheme aims to provide tap water to every village household by 2024.
