China has objected to the India-US military exercise near the LAC in Uttarakhand saying it violates the spirit of bilateral agreements for border peace. The MEA responded by saying that it's China that needed to stick to bilateral agreements in the context of the standoff in eastern Ladakh.

India saw very low number of Covid vax clotting cases: Govt

The Centre informed the Supreme Court that India had a very low incidence of Adverse Events Following Immunisation (AEFI) cases of Thrombosis and Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS) during administration of 220 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccines. It said till September 30 this year India has administered 219.9 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine. A total 26 AEFI cases of TTS were reported, of which 14 recovered and 12 died.

On way to school, 11-year-old dies as 3 siblings jump from railway bridge

An 11-year-old girl was killed and her two siblings were injured on the outskirts of Jammu city after they reportedly jumped from a railway bridge when they saw a train approaching. Police said that the tragedy occured when the three siblings, namely Alia Fatima (6), Hadia Fatima (11) and their brother Mohiuddin (12), residents of Bajaltalocality in Jammu, were on their way to school.
